*gasp* A Peter O’Toole film that I hadn’t watched? This I gotta see!
My favorite Peter O’Toole film, I watch this movie at least once a year. Superb cast, with Audrey Hepburn, Eli Wallach and Hugh Griffith, and a tremendous script. Great film.
Man, now I really need to watch this!
Hey Nir, did you ever see ‘Club Paradise’ or ‘Creator’ ? Those are two Peter O’Toole movies from the 80’s that you might want to see. Both of them are comedies. In ‘Club Paradise’ he co-stars with Robin Williams as two men who run a island resort and in ‘Creator’ he co-stars with Mariel Hemingway as a mad scientist who tries to clone his dead wife.
Huh. Interesting. I’d barely watched any Peter O’Toole films that came out after the 1970s, except for Venus and Troy (aka one of the worst movies of all time).
But I’ll definitely check those two out. I have How to Steal a Million in the PS3 as we speak. :O)
I finally watched it last night. It had a bit of a slow start (20 minutes or so) but soon after it picked up steam, really quickly, and kept going all the way to the end. It’s was pretty awesome.
