New in Theaters This Weekend
A highly promising weekend thanks to Argo, a dramatization of the incredible-but-true story of the rescue of six Americans who escaped the Iran hostage crisis but not the city, and the black comedy Seven Pyschopaths from writer-director Martin McDonagh (his follow-up to In Bruges). In other news, family-in-peril horror movie Sinister and Kevin James comedy Here Comes the Boom also open.
What have you been watching? What are you looking forward to?

I meant to chime in last week with Hotel Transylvania, but having waited, I can add Frankenweenie and a home viewing of Hysteria (which doesn’t fit the theme, I know). All were great fun, and I think Frankenweenie is the best of the Halloween trifecta composed of the above and Paranorman.
My 15 year romance with a Honda Civic ended, and I’m just now back on wheels, so I can join the group for Seven Psychopaths this weekend.
Yeah, Looper is really good.
