New in Theaters This Weekend
Actual competition for our attention this weekend with cops-on-the-edge thriller End of Watch, comic book movie reboot Dredd, and Clint Eastwood as a baseball scout in Trouble with the Curve. Also horror movie House at the End of the Street.

Ichi the Killer (2001)- rewatched it; love it
Shotgun Stories (2007)- rewatched it; love it
The Informer (1935)- first viewing of this film; it’s a remarkable, powerful, beautifully shot and lit, terrifically acted and directed, and, simply, an awesome John Ford film
I forgot that I also rewatched Mean Streets (1973) on Blu-ray. I love that movie!
