But you’re right: Joey Pants and Gina Gershon are actually at their best in Bound. Gerhson’s also good in John Woo’s Face/Off. And if I’m not mistaken, Tilly’s performance in Woody Allen’s Bullet’s Over Broadway was Oscar nominated.

It was the first dvd I ever watched–my best friend from college called and said I should come over and check out his dvd player. I said, “What’s a dvd player?” We watched Bound, then again with commentary. It was such a novel concept that Gina Gershon asked, “Are we supposed to be talking this much?”

This movie contains my favorite performances from each of the three principles.
