I’ve never seen this–it looks pretty stunning. I just added it to my queue.
Be sure and tell me what you thought after you watch it. Murnau was the great visual stylist of the ’20s and I put “Faust” in his top three with “Sunrise” and “City Girl”.
I certainly will. It’s second only to “All that Heaven Allows,” because I need to fit that in before Tuesday. :)
I almost tie Sunrise with Citizen Kane for best movie of all time. Kane is the ultimate winner, though. And always will be.
