@ Helen, not at all. And I also loved the Star Wars reference even if it may be unintentional. I walked out of the theatre asking my friend, "Was Obi Wan Kenobi really there for that reason alone?"

Clooney is always awesome, "Michael Clayton", "Out of Sight", and "Syriana" spring to mind and The Dude was waaaay too obvious.

'Tis a darn fun film.

Bridges is wonderful in his role, and well worth the price of admission just to enjoy his comic timing and body language. You are correct to promote The Big Lebowski; anyone who hasn't seen it is missing a superb entertainment.

Funny movie. I liked it.

The amiable attitude and meandering plot are part of the charm, Clooney's performance anchors the project (I love him more with every new film), and Bridges is very funny. I would have said Spacey was wasted in a too-small part if not for his fabulous last scene; the joke in McGregor's casting is one good thing to come from the Star Wars prequel travesty.

On the actor's performances: I completely agree about McGregor; he just seemed to be "there." Clooney, as you said, stole the show and Spacey was great (but when is he ever bad?). I loved this review.
