My computer is on the fritz this week, resulting in an abbreviated (not to mention late) column.  Things should be in better working condition next week, but for now, here are the limited release films playing in and around Indianapolis this week.

Fanboys - Comedy about a group of obsessed Star Wars fans on a mission is at Nashville, Indiana’s Lotus Petal Cinema through June 1 – except for May 26 and 27. Read more at the Lotus Petal Cinema homepage.

I Know I’m Not Alone – Documentary playing Tuesday, May 26, at 6 and 8 PM, at Nashville’s Lotus Petal Cinema.

Is Anybody There? – Continues for another week at Landmark’s Keystone Arts.

Kick – A Telegu language film with NO English subtitles, playing twice a day through Memorial Day weekend at the Georgetown 14. Visit the distributor’s website for more info.

Paris 36 – I loved the preview for this musical drama, but was a bit more mixed on the film.  If you want to see it for yourself, it continues at Landmark’s Keystone Arts this week, with two shows a day.

The Sandbox – A drama about the war in Iraq, which apparently actually WILL open at the Georgetown 14 this week. Follow this link for more information.

Sugar – Acclaimed drama about a Dominican baseball player in the US, from the people who made Half Nelson.  Opens this week at Landmark’s Keystone Arts. The film’s official website is here.

Sunshine Cleaning – Holds over for another week at AMC’s College Park 14.

Wendy and Lucy – Continues through Monday, May 26 at the Lotus Petal Cinema in Nashville, IN.
