However, the animals can be a bit confusing. Shifu is not a badger, but a red panda or 'shining cat.' Tai Lung is DEFINATELY not a tiger, he is a snow leopard. And Zeng, Mr. Ping, and the other townsfolk that are not rabbits or pigs are swan geese. Also, something I thought was interesting, was the wordplay. 'Shifu' means master in Chinese, 'tai lung' great dragon, and 'oogway' is land tortoise. :-) This is a wonderful movie for children and adults alike! However, the animals can be a bit confusing. The wonton duel is probably my favorite scene. It's clever and funny and it also makes a perfect 'final test' for the apprentice warrior, who bests the master and realizes his strength and readiness for the challenge ahead.
