yeah, the film is amazing to those who have an interest in music and drama. Of course Beyonce Knowles is the one to watch out for. Jamie Foxx is an awesome actor, along with all the other actors and actresses. The film is filled with music, love and more music. Though we would expect Eddie Murphy to have thrown in some comedy, but there is not much comedy in this particular film.

It's a "nice" little movie. Other than the performances of Hudson and Murphy, there's little left to enjoy. I don't really know if it will stand the test of time, like O Brother Where Art Thou? in terms of music crossover. It's 50/50 at this point, especially with the current climate of American Idol. (which Hudson was apart of) It also proves to me that Condon is ten times the director than Rob (hack!)Marshall is therefore satisfying the non- musical lover in me. I look for entertainment and this movie did indeed provide it.
